Thank you for wanting to make Christmas bright
for kids at Ark Crisis Children’s Center!
With your help, more than 150 of Ark’s children will get gifts this Christmas. That is amazing!
Without you, these children will have no gifts to open Christmas morning. Not only is that heartbreaking for the children, but the pressure to provide gifts adds tremendous stress to families that are already struggling to make ends meet.
how the program works:
Fill out the form below and indicate how many children and/or families you would like to help
Ark will provide the child(ren)’s name, age, wish lists, needs and sizes
You purchase items for each child you adopt. The wish list is just a suggestion, you do NOT need to purchase everything on the list
Wrap each item and label them with the child’s name. Family gifts do not need to be wrapped but should be labeled with the child’s name.
Bring the items to Ark (415 Lincoln Avenue) by December 17th (M-F 8am-4pm). You may call when you arrive (812-423-9425) and we will meet you at the back door to help you unload your items
If you adopt multiple children, we will try to keep them all in the same family. However, you may be providing gifts for children from different families. Ark will indicate if the children are not related when we send your wish lists and sizes.
We recommend you plan to provide 1-2 outfits, pajamas, undergarments, shoes and coat plus 4+ toys per child. We estimate you will spend a minimum of $200 per child.

Family gifts typically include:
Blankets & pillows
Towels, soap & cleaning supplies
Non-perishable foods
Family games or household items
