Middle-school student, Reagan E. applied for a grant to do art projects with Ark’s kids. Over a series of several weeks, she recruited friends and family to join her in reading stories and doing crafts with Ark’s children. It’s amazing what one super kid with a dream can accomplish!

The Junior League of Evansville, Ark's founder in 1981, continues to support Ark. Most recently, the JLE provided funds to send Ark's children to the Cold Stone Creamery Fairy Tale Ball and to support the crisis care program.

The Rotaract Club of Evansville renovated Ark's playground as its first-ever Signature Project! The former parking lot was transformed to have grass, a hill slide, trees, a tricycle trail and much more!

Mr. Strange visits Ark each month to read to the children. He brings books and leaves them behind for the children to enjoy in the classrooms. Each month, he learns a little bit more about Ark’s mission and how sharing a bit of his time can make a world of difference for kids.

When you volunteer at Ark,
you are part of our mission to keep children safe.

Allstate Insurance agents from around the state come to Ark each year for a day of service. They clean toys and scrub cots, tables and chairs. Agent Tod Wilson also applies for an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant to protect Ark’s kids throughout the year!

As a United Way Partner Agency, Ark welcomes volunteers on the United Way Day of Caring each September. Volunteers rock babies, play wth children, do maintenance projects and clean toys.

The Evansville Thunderbolts and Aviators collect stuffed toys each fall and share them with Ark’s children!

Mr. Pitt brings his musical instruments every month and recruits his friends to join him for a concert for Ark’s children. He helps the children explore different musical styles and develop a love of music.

Your new and gently-used donations help children in so many ways. Ark’s kids get warm coats, shoes, socks, undergarments, shirts, shorts, pants and jackets because people, just like you, care enough to give!

Harrison High School students put together treat bags each Halloween for Ark’s kids to take home.

Adley hosted a pizza party and asked guests to bring donations for Ark. She learned about Ark's program and helped spread the word (and made some pretty awesome signs)!

Seth and Ryan invited their friends to their Birthday party and asked them to bring diapers, baby wipes, books and arts and crafts items for Ark's kids.

The Kiwanis Club adopts an Ark family as part of the "Ark Christmas Adoption Program", providing the family with gifts, clothing, household items and more. Their generosity, along with many others, brings Christmas joy to nearly 200 children each year.

Heath & Shelly Coomes host a “Darts for Ark” tournament and raise money and accept toy donations each year to benefit Ark’s kids. The toys are given to children at Christmas and for Birthdays all year long so children have gifts to open on their special day!

The Vanderburgh Sheriff's Office takes 20 preschool aged children on a Christmas shopping spree at Meijer each year for the annual "Christmas with the Kids" program. This special program helps children and their families during the holidays and helps foster great relationships with local law enforcement. Financial support from Meijer makes this program possible!
