The Junior League of Evansville, Ark's founder in 1981, continues to support Ark. Most recently, the JLE provided funds to send Ark's children to the Cold Stone Creamery Fairy Tale Ball and to support the crisis care program.

The Rotaract Club of Evansville renovated Ark's playground as its first-ever Signature Project! The former parking lot was transformed to have grass, a hill slide, trees, a tricycle trail and much more!

Walgreens hosts an annual Easter Egg Hunt and a Christmas party for Ark's children. Each child gets a photo with the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Walgreens has also hosted a health fair, flu shot clinic and donated school supplies and backpacks to children heading to kindergarten.

Girl Scout Troop 62 celebrated International Day of the Girl by donating cookies and playing with Ark's children. The scouts also organized Ark's library.

Mr. Pitts volunteers once a month by stopping by Ark to play his guitar during an "in-house adventure". Since Ark children do not go on field trips, special volunteers, like Mr. Pitts, bring the field trips to Ark.

Your celebrations, holidays and milestones
can help Ark's kids in so many ways.

Matthew chose Ark as his Eagle Scout Project. He made child-sized picnic tables and installed outdoor easels on the playgrounds.

Adley hosted a pizza party and asked guests to bring donations for Ark. She learned about Ark's program and helped spread the word (and made some pretty awesome signs)!

The Northside Kiwanis Club adopted an Ark family as part of the "Ark Christmas Adoption Program", providing the family with gifts, clothing, household items and more. Their generosity brought Christmas joy to a family in need.

Each Fourth of July, members of Rolling Thunder come to Ark to teach the children about the American Flag and the importance of the Fourth of July holiday.

The Vanderburgh Sheriff's Office takes 25 preschool aged children on a Christmas shopping spree each year for the annual "Christmas with the Kids" program. This special program helps children and their families during the holidays and helps foster great relationships with local law enforcement.
